Director of Nursing- Robinvale
Robinvale District Health Service (RDHS) is a vibrant and dynamic Multi-Purpose Health Service (MPS). We provide flexible and coordinated health care services for communities in Victoria’s accessible Outback – we work in northwest Victoria, and parts of New South Wales. We provide aged care, sub-acute and allied health services on a primary care model that meets our communities’ health needs across the lifespan. The role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an exceptional Director of Nursing to join our management team.
The Director of Nursing (DON) is directly responsible for nursing and associated services at the Main and Riverside Campus of Robinvale District Health Services (RDHS).
Services include Acute, Aged, Visiting Nurse. The DON will actively provide clinical leadership, engaging employees to provide our residents with person centred care of the highest quality, whilst empowering continuous improvement and meeting legislative, regulatory and policy requirements.
The DON will actively participate in the strategic development of the organisation, provide leadership and foster cooperation across all departments of the health service.

Key Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Current AHPRA registration
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous management experience
- Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Demonstrate excellent patient centred care
- The ability to produce high quality documentation
- Clear police and Working with Children’s check
