Eligibility

To be eligible to enter into residential aged care at RDHS you are required to be 65 years or older (50 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people).

RDHS support the Australian Government commitment to ensuring no younger person (under the age of 65) lives in residential aged care and therefore RDHS do not generally accept applications from persons under 65.

The first step to access government-funded aged care services is to undergo an assessment. You can apply for an assessment online or you can call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.

Prospective residents (or their representatives) are strongly encouraged to seek alternative aged care places within the region as well as applying for our facilities.

Robinvale District Health Services cannot guarantee a place will be available when a level of care is required by the applicant.
