Mildura Arts Centre Back Button

RDHS provides an UCC staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week  at both our Robinvale and Manangatang campuses.

Staffed by skilled Registered Nurses (RN’s) with Advanced Life Support training for urgent medical care, and with medical services provided by the state-wide Victorian Virtual Emergency Department (VVED), our RN’s are able to administer emergency care and arrange transfer for further care - however a General Practitioner may not always be available on-site.

In this case, patients will undergo a consultation with a doctor remotely via the VVED.

Patients using the RDHS Urgent Care Centre are assessed by nursing staff and are triaged according to the severity of their condition – with the most urgent cases always attended to first.

If your condition requires more specialist investigation, medical assistance is available 24 hrs per day via VVED.

If required, you may be transferred to another larger hospital by ambulance. In this case ambulance fees will apply. RDHS strongly recommend that you join Ambulance Victoria to avoid unexpected charges.

Our UCC can be contacted at any time on (03) 5051 8111.

The closest Emergency Department medical services are located at Mildura Base Public Hospital – Mildura and Swan Hill District Health – Swan Hill.

For immediate medical emergencies you must always call 000.
