Volunteers are at the heart of our health service, and we consider each and every one a member of our team!
As a volunteer at RDHS, you will have the opportunity to undertake a variety of important tasks and activities that help enhance the lives of our community.
It’s not all work and no play though – our volunteers get the opportunity to engage with the wider community, create new friendships, learn and develop valuable new skills, all while knowing they’re making an invaluable difference to the lives of those who need them. Pretty rewarding stuff!
Our generous volunteers are a vital part of what we do, providing an incredibly valuable service to our patients, residents, families and visitors alike.
All volunteers are thoroughly vetted and provided with the relevant support, training and supervision prior to commencement.
