Robinvale District Health Services (RDHS) is a vibrant and dynamic rural health organisation providing health care services across the Victorian Mallee and parts of New South Wales. We operate under the Multi-Purpose Service (MPS)Model providing flexible and coordinated services such as Acute, Aged Care and Allied Health Services to it’s wider community.

About the role

We are seeking a Physiotherapist – Grade 3 to work in a full-time basis (80hrs per fortnight, including ADO’s – ongoing)

Grade 3- Team Leader

The RDHS Physiotherapy Team Leader works as part of the Primary and Community Services team, although has a priority focus on Physiotherapy service delivery and Physiotherapy team support.

The Physiotherapy Team Leader possesses a higher level of clinical competence and experience, however is still involved in direct client care, both onsite and offsite, including Outreach services and health promotion activities to address the health needs of the community. The caseload is spread across a variety of locations including: RDHSHealth and Wellbeing centre, acute hospital, aged care facilities, home-based,Outreach clinics and other locations that can arise.

The Physiotherapy Team leader will be expected to work with students andAllied Health Assistants.

Job Requirements: 

·       University qualification inPhysiotherapy

·       At least five years’ experience as a Grade 2 Physiotherapist or equivalent title

·       Current registration with AHPRA

·       Current membership with Australian PhysiotherapyAssociation

·       Current driver’s license

·       Qualifications and/or experience in leadership and management.

·       Effective communication and organisational skills.

·       Current driver’s license

·       Current Police Check & WWCC
