About the role
Robinvale District Health Services' is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Primary and Community Services to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time role based in Robinvale, VIC 3549. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the delivery of high-quality primary and community healthcare and education services to our local community.
What you'll be doing
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the primary and community services department
- Ensure the effective and efficient management of primary care, community health, and allied health services
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to drive continuous improvement
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community partners, and service users
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community-based health programs and initiatives
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of dedicated healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction and decision-making of Robinvale District Health Services
- Financial management responsibilities including budget management, grant applications and operational spending
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience in a senior management role within the healthcare or community services sector
- Demonstrated success in leading the delivery of primary and community-based healthcare services
- Strong understanding of the regulations and policies in the public healthcare industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities for growth and innovation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in allied health
